Financial Literacy Memory Game (Key Terms and Definitions) - gr. 5/6

I have crated a fun and engaging way for you to teach your students important financial literacy key terms. This is a fun and educational twist on the traditional memory card game. Essentially I have created one stack of cards that have different financial literacy key terms on them, and another stack of cards that contain their corresponding definitions on them. The idea is that students will flip up the cards trying to match the definitions to their key terms. To make it easier to incorporate this into your classroom I have created 3 difficulty levels. This allows you to differentiate your instruction to meet the needs of all the students in your classroom. I also made sure to colour cordite the cards, so that it will be easy to organize the difficulty levels after playing. This resource is a fun game that can be used again every single year if you laminate your cards! I know how important saving time as a teacher is, so I have made this as little prep as possible, all you have to do is print and cut out the cards! All the instructions are clearly laid out for students to read with their groups. I also made sure to include a teacher’s guide to help you run this activity with ease.
