Currency Conversions Financial Literacy - Worksheets! (Grade 7)

I created this workbook to teach students about different currencies around the world. To start learning about currencies I included important terms, and a few inquiry or discussion questions. By completing this workbook students will learn different currencies and what countries use those currencies by doing a fun matching activity. Students will then have to research and identify the currencies, symbols and short forms for a variety of countries. When working with different exchange rates and conversions, I have included a step by step process for students to follow, examples, and practice questions for both easy and more difficult problems. For students to be able to really show their understanding of the concepts that they have learned about exchange rates for currencies, they can then complete the word problems. I included a detailed answer key so that this product is classroom ready, and you can save prep time!! This specific resource is aimed at F1.1 of the Grade 7 Ontario Math Curriculum.
